Product Review : Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan

It gets hot in Georgia. All the time.  Even in the fall and winter, we fluctuate between warm and cold weather.  It really is no wonder we get a lot of colds during these months.  Nonetheless, when the opportunity to try out the Ozeri 42-inch Wind Fan, I thought it would be a great way to cool us off.

When the box arrived, it was basically a box in a box.  My two sons, aged 4 and 6 at the time, helped my put it together.  The fan's base came unassembled. With a simple screwdriver we had the base and the extension on with less than ten minutes.  One could choose to leave off the extension. The fan comes with a lid that houses the little remote control as well as the manual buttons.  It takes triple A batteries that are included in the purchase.

One can adjust the fan so that it oscillates. There is also a timer from 1 hour to 12 hours. Arie-flow can also be adjusted.

I thought the noise level was not bad at all. There have been many times my son has turned it on (yes, it is easy enough for a 4-year-old) and the noise has not bothered me.  It does, however, 'beep' when it is turned on and off, which also comes in handy so I know my child isn't playing with it.

My husband is probably the one who benefits from it the most.  We have discussed that he wants to take it to work.  He is a band director, and his classroom get warm from time to time.  Overall, I have been very pleased with the Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan.

I was provided with the Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan to try in my home. All the opinions are my own.
